We employ the air-set sand and CO2 methods to manufacture castings. Weights cast in Aluminium are typically from 0.1kgs to 100kgs and in Copper Base alloys 0.2kgs to 80kgs.

Aluminium Gravity Die-Casting

Using a range of alloys, Gravity Die-casting is ideal for medium to high volume production. Zinc and Aluminium alloys are cast, typically weights vary from 0.01kgs to 15kgs.

Shell Moulding for Aluminium & Copper Base

For small and medium batch quantities, we produce Shell castings, which are very close to the quality expected for Gravity Die-castings. This method produces very accurate sand castings, which can incorporate fine detail, reducing the need for costly machining

Metals Cast

Our more commonly cast grades include :

Aluminium Base Alloys - LM4, LM5, LM6, LM25 & 40E
Aluminium alloys can be stress relieved or fully heat-treated.
Copper Base Alloys - LG2, LG4, G1, PB1, LPB1, AB2 SCB3 & HTB1.
Zinc Base Alloys - ZA12 & ZA25

Other grades of metal can be used for individual requirements.

Finishing

We are able to supply components partially or fully machined. Wet painted or powder coated finishes are not a problem.
